Deb Darnell-Rebennack, instructor and out-reach coordinator, may look familiar to those of you who have already taken ballroom dance lessons at your community clubhouse or you may have even seen her on T.V.! Deb comes to Rhythm In Motion with many years of professional expertise in the field of ballroom dancing. She began as an instructor in Lincoln, Nebraska and, since the time of her initial training, has added many credits to her extensive list of accomplishments.
Deb has competed professionally in Miami, New Orleans, and Las Vegas, as well as many other venues. She has reached the finals in American Smooth and Rhythm at Ohio Star Ball, and also has won the professional Country Western Division in Atlantic City. Deb has not limited herself to appearances just in the United States and was invited By Vicky Venka to perform in Norway.
With extensive training and coaching by professionals such as Vicky Venka, Patrick Johnson, Bob Powers, Julia Gorchakova, Ron Montez, and Rick Velanzuela, Deb can surely have you dancing in what seems like minutes. Her goal is to keep you focused, motivated, and to continually improve in an encouraging, fun-filled way.
